- COMMAND: MENU DOCUMENTATION : None
-
- FUNCTION: Displays a menu of the major applications on the system and allows
- the user to select one for execution.
-
- FORMAT: MENU
-
- TYPE: Public domain software (D.N.Ikle,1671 Newport St.,Denver CO 80220)
-
- REMARKS: MENU may be executed from any sub-directory. It displays a list of
- the major applications programs on the system and a list of the
- functions of other major sub-directories. If a selection is made that
- refers to a specific program name, the default sub-directory is
- changed to its directory and the program named is executed. When that
- program is terminated, the user is returned to the menu in the
- selected sub-directory. If a selection is made that does not refer to
- a specific program name, the default sub-directory is changed to that
- sub-directory, an SD (Sorted Directory) command is executed, and the
- user is returned to DOS. In order to save disk space, some software
- packages have been removed and are archived on floppy disks. If a
- selected sub-directory is empty, the user is prompted for entry of
- the appropriate archive diskettes, and the files are restored.
- This command requires the Extended Batch Language.
